Business Development Coordinator

We are seeking a bright, self-motivated, mature and dedicated career minded professional with the following qualifications and skills:

 RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reports directly to the Director of Business Development and Marketing Department leader.
    • Builds trust by proactively meeting commitments, anticipating needs, and resolving issues.
    • Responsible for coordinating and assisting with all aspects of planning and implementing marketing and public relations activities.
    • Backup assistance with preparation of responses to Request for Qualifications/ Proposals for public/private sector projects.
    • Building client relationships and proactively looking for teaming opportunities with Architectural, Engineering and Construction firms.
    • Identifying leads and assisting in developing teaming opportunities with new and existing clients.
    • Develop customer relationships and comfortable with making cold calls. 
    • Proactively generate marketing opportunities by conducting research and facilitating the development of client relationships between Campos department leaders and clients.
    • Represent the firm with various industry related organizations, maintaining Campos brand and market presence.
    • Actively taking part in the marketing operational planning process.
    • Back up support for all marketing and business development related activities including Vision database entry, sales reporting etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, management information systems English, journalism, or communications required. An exceptional candidate with equivalent proven industry experience but no degree will be considered.

  • Minimum of 2- 3 years focused in the writing and production of qualifications and marketing materials preferably with an architectural, engineering or construction firm.  Experience in the local DFW area andf local client network is not required but is a plus.

  • Candidate should be highly organized, creative, solution-oriented and team-focused.

  • Possess strong interpersonal relations skills, enthusiastic attitude, leadership ability, and an excellent work ethic with a flexibility to work with a variety of team members and dynamic project demands without direct supervision.

  • Effective verbal communication. Comfortable communicating with team members, other leaders and clients.

  • Effective written communication, marketing materials/ reports and correspondence are clear, error free concise and tailored to the reader.

  • Stable career oriented work history and the desire and commitment to grow with our company over the long term.

  • Deltek Vision experience is a plus but not a requirement.

  • Working knowledge of construction project delivery method and construction contract terminology is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of the process for pricing proposals including bidding is a plus.

  • Strong computer skills- Advanced knowledge of MS Office especially Word and Excel a must. Photoshop experience is a plus.

Electrical Project Engineer

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, people and client skills. You should have proven leadership abilities with the motivation to manage electrical design project from initiation through successful completion. This position requires a minimum of 7 years of proven progressive experience in the design of lighting systems, power distribution systems, fire alarm, voice/data systems and LEED design for public and private sector facilities. Experience should include electrical estimating, AutoCAD production drawings, Revit production drawings, development of specifications, and construction cost estimating. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Design experience should include a wide variety of facility types. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and a Professional Engineer license (by exam) with the ability for reciprocal registration in Texas is required.

Mechanical Project Engineers

This position requires a minimum of 7 years of proven progressive experience in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for public and private sector facilities. Experience should include HVAC and plumbing load estimating, AutoCAD production drawings, development of specifications, and construction cost estimating. U.S. citizenship is required.

Design experience should include a wide variety of facility types. A B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and a Professional Engineer license (by exam) with the ability for reciprocal registration in Texas is required.

Electrical Power and Lighting Engineer

Entry level electrical design position with excellent verbal and written communications, people and client skills. This position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of progressive MEP consulting engineering firm experience in the design of electrical power and lighting systems for buildings. Experience should include load estimating, AutoCad production drawings, developing specifications, and construction cost estimating. U.S. citizenship is required.

Design experience should include a wide variety of facility types. A B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain EIT certification is required.
