Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and dedicated professional with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn that can contribute to our overall firm approach to marketing.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops qualifications, proposals, presentations, photography, resumes, project examples and text for marketing submittals of all types.

Regularly checks project lead resources and reports lead findings weekly to marketing team. 

Coordinates the agenda for and attends the bi-weekly marketing meetings.  

Prepares meeting notes and tracks marketing and business development activities.

Production of printed materials for Marketing Presentations, Promotions, and Business Development using firm templates.  Works with Senior Marketing Coordinator and outside consultants to update and enhance firm templates.  

Coordinates work with select consultants, technical staff, profit center leaders and client account managers to ensure we have internal staff technical reviews completed in a timely fashion.

Coordinates with internal project managers and/or clients to get completed projects photographed for use in project descriptions.  Coordinate with professional photographer if needed for high profile projects.

Coordinates completion of project startup & close out sheets with project managers.

May attend pre-proposal conferences, and other marketing related events such as expos, exhibits, industry organizations, and committees.

Provides direct support to the Senior Marketing Coordinator and Business Development Coordinator when applicable.

Maintains accurate client information and distribution lists related to marketing activities.

Maintains and updates existing marketing materials, files and visual libraries.

Updates technical staff resumes twice a year.

Standardizes firm profile, resumes and landmark projects.

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Senior Marketing Coordinator and provides assistance to the Business Development Coordinator and Marketing Director when applicable.

MINIMUM “MUST HAVE” QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with industry experience
  • Experience: This is an entry level position, coursework and internships should include technical writing, marketing, advertising, mass communication, and business.
  • Desire and ability to grow responsibilities and learn on the job.
  • Commitment to grow with our company over the long term.
  • Interest in becoming involved with industry and community organizations.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain security clearance including background and drug testing.

The Marketing Coordinator will be eligible for yearly performance appraisals based on accomplishing the responsibilities above, employee feedback, and their ability to support the firm’s mission statement and strategic plan.  Salary increases will be possible based on performance and increased responsibility.  Through firm growth and expansion and a proven record of accomplishing the responsibilities above, the marketing coordinator position will have the opportunity to grow into the senior marketing coordinator or business development positions.

Electrical Project Engineer

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, people and client skills. You should have proven leadership abilities with the motivation to manage electrical design project from initiation through successful completion. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of proven progressive experience in the design of lighting systems, power distribution systems, fire alarm, voice/data systems and LEED design for public and private sector facilities. Experience should include electrical estimating, AutoCAD production drawings, development of specifications, and construction cost estimating. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Design experience should include a wide variety of facility types. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer license (by exam) with the ability for reciprocal registration in Texas is required.

Mechanical Project Engineers

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of proven progressive experience in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for public and private sector facilities. Experience should include HVAC and plumbing load estimating, AutoCAD production drawings, Revit production drawings, Revit production drawings, development of specifications, and construction cost estimating. U.S. citizenship is required.

Design experience should include a wide variety of facility and system types. A B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineer license (by exam) with the ability for reciprocal registration in Texas is required.

Entry level electrical design position with excellent verbal and written communications, people and client skills. This position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of progressive MEP consulting engineering firm experience in the design of electrical power and lighting systems for buildings.
