Campos provided mechanical and electrical engineering for the one-story, 11,700 SF fire station in Dallas, Texas. Fire Station No. 35 has four apparatus bays which were heated by infra-red heaters and mechanical ventilation in the summer. The building has direct expansion roof-top equipment for HVAC of the offices, living quarters and support areas. Electrical services at 208/120 volt, 3-phase were provided including a standby natural gas-fired generator system. Also, high efficiency florescent lighting fixtures were used throughout the building. Fire Station No. 35 achieved LEED Certification.
