JOE D. CAMPOS, P.E.
President
Joe D. Campos founded Campos Engineering, Inc. to provide professional engineering design and project management services for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. As president, Joe is responsible for committing firm resources to job orders as needed to meet budget and schedule requirements. In addition, he provides QA/QC reviews for every project. Joe has experience on a wide array of project types and can successfully meet the expectations of a variety of client types. He graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and six additional states.
WILLIAM A. KUMPF, P.E., LEED® AP
Vice President
Bill Kumpf is a seasoned Registered Professional Engineer and is well versed in the areas of project management, systems design and construction, design supervision, and equipment procurement. Bill’s experience as a project manager and mechanical engineer has included many projects in both the public and private sectors including educational, recreational, corporate, industrial, and aviation facilities. Bill oversees CEI’s work in developing sustainable designs and construction practices under the LEED Rating System. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and 30 additional states.
TONY CASAGRANDE, P.E.
Director of Indoor Environment Division
Tony Casagrande is responsible for overseeing the management, marketing, and business development of CEI's Indoor Environment Division. He manages the field testing and balancing activities as well as verifying commissioning projects performed by CEI’s Indoor Environment Division. His duties include coordination of work efforts with other project disciplines, review of construction documents, preparation of final T&B and commissioning reports. In addition, he provides clients with data analyses, observations, and recommendations. Tony has managed construction projects totaling in excess of $10 million. He provides NEBB reviews and seals the completed T&B reports. Tony is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and is an NEBB Certified Professional Test and Balance Supervisor and Building System Commissioning Agent.
LARRY A. MAYNARD, P.E., LEED® AP
Electrical Design Team Leader
Larry Maynard’s industry experience includes managing the electrical engineering and design of hospital, commercial, industrial, retail, office building, and high-rise projects. He has performed and supervised the design of lighting and power systems, light sensing and energy management controls, electrical distribution systems, and fire alarm systems. Larry’s experience with owners, project engineers, state inspectors, and city officials enables him to develop clear scopes of work, budgets, and schedules to satisfy each client’s individual needs. Larry holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and four other states.
GINA KONGANDA
Director, Business Development & Marketing
Gina Konganda has been in the national and international A/E/C industry for over 12 years where she has been responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and organizing the overall marketing efforts for both start-up companies and established firms. Her primary responsibilities include strategic planning, public relations, and supervision of all aspects of the firm's marketing and business development efforts, including web design and graphic layout. She is a current committee member and a former board member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Dallas Chapter.
WESLEY McVEY
Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager
Wesley McVey is the Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager for Campos’ Indoor Environment Division. As Operations Manager, Wesley reviews construction documents, coordinates work schedules with other disciplines and reviews final reports. He also manages the project management staff and Texas commissioning and testing, adjusting and balancing projects. Since joining Campos in 2002, one example of going above and beyond, Wesley led a field effort to help determine the cause of substantially deficient water flow in a section of a heating hot water system. The effort led to finding a blockage in the piping which was corrected. The healthcare client only required testing, adjusting and balancing services, but Wesley was able to help the mechanical contractor determine the cause of the deficiency. Wesley is a Registered Professional Engineer and Southern Methodist University alum. He is also a NEBB Certified Professional Test and Balance Supervisor, member of ASHRAE, and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional through the Association of Energy Engineers.
