Wichita Falls Regional Airport

Dallas City Performance Hall

The LEED® Platinum, award-winning Dallas City Performance Hall is situated in the largest arts district in the US, aka the Dallas Arts District. Campos provided commissioning services to verify the new mechanical, lighting and plumbing systems were operating as intended in this two-story Performance Hall which houses several theater, music and dance companies.


Trader Joe’s

Campos was responsible MEP design and fire protection services for the first Trader Joe’s store in Southlake, Texas. This scope encompassed the two-level parking structure and use of Revit for more client collaboration. Designing for LEED certification was also incorporated into this popular grocery retailer’s new store. Happy shopping!


Dallas VA Medical Center

To better accommodate its patients, The Dallas VA Medical Center renovated the third floor of its facility which houses vascular and interventional radiology departments.   Campos provided MEP design services to improve systems supporting the Angio Room, Ultrasound, Multipurpose Room and medical imaging area.


Kyle Field

The largest stadium in the SEC is one of the projects for which Campos has worked with the Texas A&M University System.  The firm provided NEBB® certified testing, adjusting and balancing services for the new HVAC system supporting this stadium expansion.


Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts

Located in the Dallas Arts District, this historic performing arts magnet school helped bring the world musical greats such as Norah Jones and Erykah Badu.   The firm participated in the major renovation and addition that expanded the school’s reach by providing testing of the HVAC systems.  Campos was also retained by the District to commission a sophisticated smoke sensing and evacuation system that is rarely seen in K-12 schools.  DISD picked us due to the firm’s expertise in smoke evacuation systems.


2013 Capital Improvement Plan

Part of Fort Worth ISD’s 2013 Capital Improvement Plan included classroom additions, kitchen/cafeteria expansions and new paging systems. Campos provided MEP design services to support these renovations at West Handley Elementary School, W.M. Green Elementary School, Christene Moss Elementary School, Lowery Road Elementary School and Atwood McDonald Elementary School.


Callejo Elementary School

Named in honor of Hispanic civil-rights activist and Dallas attorney, Adelfa Botello Callejo, this Elementary School was built with sustainable features, such as a geothermal heating and cooling system, which meet or exceed standards for Texas Collaborative High Performance Schools.  Campos performed a site evaluation and provided testing, adjusting and balancing services for the 97.000 SF Callejo Elementary School.


Universal Academy

Rosemont Elementary School

Rosemont Elementary School was built with energy efficiency in mind. The heating and cooling systems utilized geothermal energy and heat recovery systems to reduce the electrical consumption and save energy.  Campos was responsible for the testing, adjusting and balancing of the energy saving systems.


Lakewood Elementary School

Campos provided MEP design services for the renovation and addition of Lakewood Elementary School. This project required careful consideration to the building’s existing power system to minimize the power outages and interruption to daily operations.


Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center

Campos’ history of working with the City of Dallas to improve amenities at the 2M SF Convention Center began it 1993. The firm’s portfolio includes numerous projects at this campus, such as designing chilled water system improvements for the entire facility and upgrading electrical systems for the theater.  Some of the additional projects include electrical design for the Vertiport and design services related to the finish out of D Hall.

Fretz Park Branch Library

Fretz Park Library is the City of Dallas’ premier example of a successful renovation. The City was so satisfied with this renovation that they made it the standard for future library renovation projects.  Campos sets the standard for MEP design services. The geothermal mechanical systems and energy efficient lighting upgrades helped this Library achieve LEED® Gold Certification.


Margot & Bill Winspear Opera House

Dallas is the proud home of the Winspear Opera House, the 21st century reinterpretation of a traditional opera house with seating for more than 2,000 people. State Farm Insurance

One of the biggest corporate office moves in Dallas took place in December 2014. Nearly 8,000 employees at State Farm’s Richardson complex moved to the new, transit-oriented campus, which includes four office buildings and 100,000 SF of retail, restaurants, and a 200-room select service hotel. Campos tested, adjusted and balanced all HVAC systems supporting this campus.

Simmons Cancer Center

Simmons Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in North Texas, is one of many projects for which Campos has provided services to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.  Specific to Simmons, Campos provided MEP design services for the renovation, which included phasing work and temporary relocation of departments to accommodate construction.


Meacham International Airport

The City of Fort Worth’s Meacham International Airport has been operating since 1925.  In 2015, the Airport started building a new administration building to house tenants, provide a high tech conference center and become the new location for American Aero FTW’s fixed base operations (FBO).  Campos provided MEP design services for the new administration building and also specifically for the FBO space.  The firm’s scope of work included HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and emergency power systems, site lighting and exterior façade lighting.


Midland Memorial Hospital

Midland Memorial Hospital is dedicated to its local community and strives to make Midland the healthiest place in Texas. To accommodate local residents, the Hospital built the nine-story Dorothy and Clarence Scharbauer Jr. Patient Tower, constructed a new central plant and renovated the existing 400,000 SF hospital. Campos provided testing, adjusting and balancing services and worked hand-in-hand with the commissioning team to meet the demanding project schedule.  This is an example of our team spirit and desire to always act in the best interest of the client.

Nationally ranked for its innovative use of technology to improve patient care, The 189,000 SF Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance serves residents for North Fort Worth, Keller, North Richland Hills, Haslet and surrounding areas.  Campos provided testing, adjusting and balancing services for the HVAC systems serving this LEED® Silver certified hospital.


New Parkland Hospital

Operational efficiency and patient care have been carefully planned for the 17-story, LEED® Gold certified New Parkland Hospital. The emergency room quadrupled from the previous hospital and nurse viewing stations are situated between every two rooms. Campos provided MEP design services for the new Executive Suite and also provided performance based design for the fire protection systems throughout the 2.1 million SF hospital.  


Student Housing

Campos provided MEP design services for the five-story, 152,000 SF residence hall.  This facility became the largest residence hall on campus and included a learning center, recreation and gaming area and a convenience café.


College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences

This new complex expands the University’s veterinary studies and is celebrated as one of the largest construction projects on the College Station campus. Campos provided NEBB® certified testing, adjusting and balancing services for the new HVAC system.

The new 50,000 SF education hall, named after its benefactors, Satish and Yasmin Gupta, is an example of how we can provide testing, balancing, and commissioning on the same project to help bring value and cost effectiveness.  This is called a Campos Combined Service.  By combining firm services, Campos was able to expedite the schedule, help uncover and correct more deficiencies, and ultimately help the team achieve LEED certification.


Rawls College of Business

Campos provided NEBB® certified testing, adjusting and balancing services for this new College.  Texas Tech University is recognized by The Carnegie Foundation for its emphasis on research and focus on engineering and science. Rawls College of Business continues this tradition in a state-of-the-art, LEED® Gold certified building on the Lubbock campus.

Originally built in 1935, this 3-story residence hall was reconfigured to house UNT International. Campos provided MEP design services. The University was so satisfied with the completion of this historic renovation that Marquis Hall was showcased at the 2016 Texas Association of Physical Plant Administrators Conference.

The firm’s commissioning team evaluated and tested the smoke evacuation and ventilation systems.  The MEP design team performed a peer review of the systems’ design prior to installation which included code compliance and system functionality verification.
